okay so I think this will be Mexico's oscar movie... don't know if it is strong enough, but among the 8 finalists, it is the one that has the more appealing to the academy...

México actually sent "Luz silenciosa" (Silent Light) from director Carlos Reygadas who won a prize at last years Cannes film festival, they say the movie is actually very good.

and refering to this movie, I havent seen it but ive would never mix Eugenio Derbez into serious acting... the trailer didnt look promising.. im not looking foward to it
