Corn vs Flour tortillas
I think corn tortillas taste better but they always fall apart. You can cram a lot into a flour tortilla and it'll still hold together. Which ones do real Mexicans prefer?

North of the tropic of cancer the Flour (wheat) tortilla is preferred, south of the tropic the corn tortilla has no rival.
I personally prefer the corn tortilla, which is less fattening because it doesn't have any lard... however people in the south are fatter because of the stuff they put in it.

if you're an American buying corn tortillas from the store that is probably why they're breaking up. try putting them in the microwave for like 30 seconds and they should be fine. If it's store-bought, I like corn ones better but nothing can beat my grandma's homemade flour tortillas lol :)

I don't like the flavor of corn tortillas - unless they're fried, in which case they're delicious.

Ah yes, the ol'e Corn vs Flour tortilla debate. Regardless of which is considered better, the tortilla may very well go down as Mexico's greatest contribution to mankind xD
