shareI assumed the Dutch resistance guys took him there. They must have prepared it for just such cases and when his plane was shot down, they moved him there.
Erica mentioned that his fever broke, so he must have had an infection. I assumed she just disinfected the wound. Must say he recovered pretty fast for someone whose legs looks like it was close to gangrene.
