Matthew Perry shines through 'Numb' - Ojai Film Festival

Numb was a dark, yet strangely pleasant tale that had me, and the audience I was with, from the very beginning. Matthew Perry is unreal and shines in this role -- he is able to captivate the audience with his portrayal of someone caught between reality and that dark, alone place that many can relate too in one way or another.
The story line itself is carried by Perry, while you watch and wait to see his internal resolution regarding the woman he falls in love with and his struggles with intimacy surrounding his immediate family.
Between his comedic timing in this dark flick, family struggles and the love story that evolves, this movie speaks to alot of people and demographics.
