thank you
I thought I was the only person in the world (literally) when I first heard about this film on NPR about a year ago. I developed depersonalization/derealization about a year before then. Hearing about this film led me to find out about this disorder, to actually put a name to the terrible feeling that I was going absolutely *beep* crazy and to realize that I wasn't and that there were others out there.
The film was good. I finally saw it today. The year long wait did not end to disappointment. The only thing I think could have been done better was to capture the sheer terror that depersonalization brings. The hyperventilation scene was close, but not quite enough. This is only a minor point.
Perry performed well. The ending was great. Lynn Collins is probably the most attractive red head I've seen and is adorable in this.
In short, good movie.
