Wont even make a mark here in the US theaters since the story bad, actors bad, screenplay bad. Mark my words..It will be a wonder if it even gets to dvd

The Theory of Everything did well in the US and was shown on almost 1000 screens. This film is supposed to be a lot better so I don't see why it won't do just as well, if not better.

Yup. Cause we all know movies with bad actors, bad plots and bad production NEVER make it to US screens.

Yes it is true it's in Manhattan, but every film you can find in Manhattan!!!. The TriBeCa film festival is over as of this post, but most people are talking about a release to the rest of North America!!. I live 30 min from Manhattan, and I wouldn't travel to see another one of these movies.

I saw it today. The theatre was full for a 4:00 pm showing on the weekend. I loved it. I was in tears by the end. The acting was fantastic in my opinion.

Troll review above. Saw it. Was good for anyone, especially academic types. Reviewers didn't like it because it wasn't hyped like all American genius movies. Don't know how accurate but very interesting to me as a science person and anyone with interest in different worldviews and lifestyles.

Thanks for the clarification. Someone whose judgment I trust raved about this film. We'll just have to wait for the DVD.

Well, I viewed the film three times in the theater, so .. it did not go straight to DVD ...

Yes, total flop. Barely in the theaters and only made 3.8 million domestic.
