What a dysfunctional family!

I'm currently watching past seasons and boy does this family not work well together or with others at all! Matt and Amy should have never gotten married - Matt had said that he married Amy because he thought she would make a good mother. It's a big slap in the face! Neither of them should have married each other because their personalities do not work well for anything at all!!

Matt is always right and heaven help anyone who disagrees with him, even his kids. I cannot handle his attitude - I'm not sure if he was always told No as a kid and this is why he can't handle it now, but I would not work with him at all.

Amy has an attitude and her back up about a lot of things and tends to focus on the wrong thing. I'm not sure if she became bitter after being with Matt for so long, but wow.

I think Jacob is the only one I really like, simply because he tells it like it is to him. You can tell that he holds a lot of hostility towards his parents, and just watching past episodes, it does seem like he was the forgotten child. The older boys ignored him and beat him up, him and Molly didn't always get along and he was referred to as the "lost" or "problem" child. That wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings right?

I blame the lack of TV for the summer for me watching this..
