The rapid response that she made to this makes me revisit a theory I had previously. In seasons past, they would plan a trip, in the middle of the trip Matt would "have to go home". "I have business to take care of". I mentioned then, to my husband, I think Matt has someone else. I think he has had for some years. I note that that is something they are both loath to approach. I thought it was odd too. What bothered me even more is that Amy kinda responded to the whole "will you two ever remarry?" (as in other people) and "have you dated anyone else?" with her saying that she doesn't see herself remarrying or even looking for anyone else. I think she commented with something along the lines of "no one else would want me" or something along those lines. How sad! I think Amy's struggling more than Matt because her whole adult life has been family, kids, and home. Now she only has the home, and the kids are all out doing their own things. It's truly a living death for her, as she puts it. Makes me wonder if moving off the farm would allow her to heal quicker.
What?? How would she have a problem getting with someone else. She is a little person with a short life expectancy and some of that sweet TLC money. I'll throw one in her myself if it means I'll have that paper in a few years.I would totally be a better dad because normal sized people are inherently better.
Not to mention how Amy talked about viewers not knowing every detail of what was going on and that they would keep those things between the family, or between her and Matt. Definitely sounds suspicious to me. But then you have to wonder...who is Matt's someone else?
