we all know he doesn't want anything to do with the show anymore but i expected more ppl to comment on him not being there for the family interview. i wonder what he's doing these days
Didn't Amy say he was "sowing his oats" or something? Sounds like he's been "laying pipe" as they say. He's been pretty active since he's was 15. But he is the best looking of all the kids so whtevr.
He lives in California, hangs out with his girlfriend and smokes a lot of weed. He dropped out of school and got his GED. He doesn't want anything to do with the show because he feels like he was cheated out of money. All 4 kids have the same amount deposited in their accounts. He is being very greedy.....and if you ask me ruining his future on the farm.
Did the kids really get the same amount of money for the show? Where's the source for that? I'm curious to know because I'd think it becomes different once they are legally an adult. Generally, 18 and over, and they are in charge of their money, but it is less clear under 18. Many think thanks to laws like Coogan's in CA, reality show kids are totally protected, but each state handles children on tv differently.
I know nothing about the LPBW set-up, but Jacob turned 18 last, and maybe he didn't get comparatively what his siblings got. Maybe he's not greedy. I actually have no idea, but personality-wise, he never seemed into being invested in the show or their brand. (Can't fault him for that part.)
He's actually a heavy machine operator in Nevada. He discovered a rare dinosaur egg should excavating a home site that turned out to be worth tons of cash, he currently lives back on the farm outta camera view widdling oak meth pipes for all the hippie kids.
I read where Jacob and Molly both refuse to come back to the show as neither of them were given the money they earned from being on the show from Matt and Amy. So believe what you want.
Interesting, because last I looked Molly has been on the show. Molly is going away to University. Like the Brown kids, filming on university campus is nearly impossble, as you'd need not only school permission but written permission from every student on screen. Molly will appear when home like Thanksgiving. Molly has been an adult for four years, and would have got her own pay cheques the last few seasons.
Jacob Roloff, the 18-year-old son of Little People, Big World stars Amy and Matt Roloff, claims that his child stardom came at the expense of his actual childhood—and even some of his earnings from the series.
Radar Online reports that Jacob appears to be estranged from his family, save for his similarly camera-shy sister Molly, 21, and has aired his grievances on Twitter about allegedly not receiving payment for his previous nine seasons of appearing on the show. Jacob also enjoys posting about the dangers and horrors of vaccinations, as well as boasting about smoking marijuana and dropping out of high school. And to think…he's probably still better off than any of the Duggars.
