Family Vacation In Hawaii ???

Why Wasn't Molly Or Jacob Mentioned ??? They Are Part of The Family...

I was curious about that too! And why didn't they go on the family vacation?

Jacob has chosen to no longer participate in the show and since TLC was paying for the trip , I doubt they invited him. Maybe Molly didn't want to leave her boyfriend behind.

I notice when Matt mentions dividing up the farm he only talks about Jeremy and Zach. It's like the other two children don't exist.

Matt is old fashioned and always sees 'the eldest son takes over'.

Molly is smart to not to get involved. That farm is barely sustainable. I think they pushed to buy a new property not for a house but for harvestable land. Whn the show ends they need a way to make a profit as I highly doubt Matt saved much. Before the show they made ends meet for the six of them by Matt working in sales and the LP community and Amy as a pre-school teacher. Pumpkin season is a few weeks a year. Their small orchard and the salsa is not enough to support the rest. And for all the creativity of Matt's building, makes a lot of their land unfarmable. The wedding business if they bothered to continue it may help. But as the boys have families, the number of people for the farm to support, grows. Zach and Tori are best served keeping their jobs and helping out here and there, and like the other two, taking a monetary share as inheritance one day. Jeremy and Audrey will find the fame will die, her little blog and such will make little money and they will have to work their ass off to make a profit from that farm.

Unless you have a massive farm with many crops and/or animals, and make it a real business, farms are basically 'hobbies', you are lucky to break even. Most small farms supplement with other income like the Roloffs used to. My friend's family has a farm about their size, but instead of seasonal pumpkins, they have turkeys which have popular seasons too. They supplement with her mother teaching and her dad runs a butcher business from home.

That's putting it mildly.

Did you see the episode where Rocky was showing signs of age and in some discomfort . Matt told Jeremy that he should take Rocky out and shoot him. I was so so shocked I sucked wind for ten mins. 🙀 That's something they did a hundred years ago.. Why he would even suggest such a thing is beyond me.

Where did I say they sold it or I thought they would????

I didn't mention the couple, except saying they tried to buy another farm to EXPAND. Perhaps try reading slowly, you seem to be easily confused.

The whole paragraphs where I said the other 3 kids would be smart to stay out of the business, maybe was a huge clue. Or the whole I said 'take a monetary chunk as inheritance'. Should I google and see if the couple died? Because that's how inheritance works. I am not implying the couple selling the farm and giving the kids money. Inheritance equals death and last I looked they are alive.

I don't think they abandoned Molly. You ever think maybe she had something going on and couldn't make it?

It's also well known that Jacob doesn't want to be on anymore.
