I never got the feeling that Amy was trying to drag out the divorce. To me it seems like Matt is in a rush. That's Matts way of dealing with things. He gets a wild hair about something and just runs with it. That's how Matt and Amy got married in the first place. They barely knew each other and Matt decided they should get married.

If he was in that big of a hurry to get divorced he should have established residence in NV and filed there. It only takes six weeks there. ( I think.)

Silver_Bullets: Their Corporate and Financial matters may be too complicated to do out of State. I do not know the Laws of Oregon in regards too these matters.

At the beginning, it seems that Matt was not in any hurry to Divorce.
But then, Amy really wanted it and so it went.
It's been a few years that Matt & Amy have not gotten along. In fact, I'm surprised they stayed together as long as they did. The "fit" was just not right about those two (probably from the start).

I agree with that. Amy said in last nights episode that she's been unhappy in the marriage for the past 15 yrs.

Yes I watch the show and I wouldn't describe Amy as a bitch. I think Amy is very lonely and depressed. Matt is not blameless in this whole mess.

He's totally blameless. He's a hard working on the go provider. Amy isn't a bad person, and I'm sure she's a good mom, but Matt's done nothing to deserve the kinda moaning and complaining HELL he's got with Amy. Matt's a real champion for not putting a 12 gauge in his mouth right at the kitchen table, God knows I woulda done that LONG ago while she was taking away.

I don't understand why Matt is in such a hurry for this divorce. He also makes it sound like the divorce has taken so long because of Amy. I'm sorry but divorce takes time mostly when it involves all the roloffs have invested during their marriage. I understand that their marriage is irreversible broken but he could be more sensitive to Amy's feelings. Amy is a good person and deserves to receive something for a long marriage. The divorce is a done deal. Matt needs to honest on why he wants this divorce finalized like yesterday.

Who wouldn't be in hurry to get far away from Amy?. I'm not saying she's a bad person or mother but to matt she's a horrid wife. Not quite bad enough to give Matt the go to leave her earlier but no redeeming qualities as a good wifey.

Just annoyingly nit picking and non supportive ALL the time. Frankly, I'm surprised he hasn't went nuts and admire Matt's tenacity to stay sane through all this.
