Anyone notice Amy has no Little People friends?
On the show recently Amy had a party on the farm and all her girl friends are of regular size. The was no "little people" friends. I wonder why that is?

shareLittle people are not that common. Thats why they took zach to a lot of conventions growing up.
shareAfter going to all those little people conventions, though, you would think they'd have lots of little people friends from there.
shareYes, but those conventions weren't local. Do you think a friend from another state is going to fly in for dinner???
shareNo,I guess not, not unless TLC paid for it. But you'd think maybe they'd show her skyping people or facebooking, or even just talking about them.
shareYeah because that would be so realistic. Lets make sure the cameras are on, and lets make sure they get a good shot of the screen so there is no doubt they are little people. Or that facebook page says John Smith, little person so you know. Maybe a telephone conversation where she throws little person every few sentences so you know her friend is one???
shareMatt is the one that has been actively involved with Little People of America, not Amy. She may have tagged along with Matt and Zach, but she hasn't been as involved as Matt.
Most of her causes have centered around empowering women (of any size). Since most of her friends are from the Portland/Hillsboro area and many of them are people she knows from her church, I don't imagine that there are many little people.
Congratulations. You just made the most moronic comment in the history of IMDB. Who the hell cares. How many 'little people" do you know and socialize with? Probably none. There aren't that many. But the fact that someone is shorter then average, is expected to hang with others also short...like saying She's a redhead, am I the only one that's noticed she hangs out with no other redheads?
Does she think she's better then other redheads?
I don't think you are malicious. Just slow.

Maybe you're the slow one... You compare having little people friends to being friends with people who have the same color? Little people have their own community and often are friends with each other. With reality shows like "Little Women: LA" (and NY and Atlanta), many of the women have been friends for years and bonded through conventions.
As samup said, there was nothing wrong with questioning if Amy had any LP friends. Portland is a big area, so maybe the OP wondered if Amy knew any in her age-range through LPA meet-ups. The conventions are not just national; they have regional ones.
I agree that Amy never seemed as involved as Matt with LPA, and of course her having only close average-sized friends to a party is totally normal. However, the OP wasn't "slow" for asking, and it's not like asking why someone isn't friends with someone of the same hair color, lol.
I can't believe you are defending your question. How many little people friends do you have? How many super-tall friends? It's the most irrelevant thing you could possibly take away from this show. They are short.
That, in your mind, is enough of a common ground to necessitate socializing?
I'm pretty sure it's the last thing on her mind.
It''s boggling that you would think about it long enough to comment on it,
I'm surprised she has any friends at all with her sarcasm. Very insecure person.
shareI cannot believe she has any friends at all...she is such a b***h!
shareAmy has been a long time friend of dwarf actor Marty Klebba. He hasn't been on the show recently but he was in several episodes. If memory serves, they had little people friends over to the house (can't remember their names).
