Jeremy couldnt possibly be any more self-absorbed.

What a jerk Jeremy is. He only seems like he's interested in something when he's the one doing the talking. There was scene at his house once, over by his sink, where his wife- 1 foot away, asked him something and he just ignored her like she never asked him anything. What arrogance. He never laughs unless its a smile from something he said. Like he's this big serious deep thinking guru or something. I think he has that man bun pulled too tight on the back of his head.

This cold act towards his mother dating; how childish and further shows what a self absorbed bore he really is. Your mom looked after you all your life and now your married and she's alone and she's not supposed to date and have someone.Your dad was married to that farm and obviously put his needs ahead of Amy's and now she has found some happiness and you show no emotion. He reeks of arrogance and shows constantly that he is bored with conversation unless its him thats doing the talking. Now he's writing blogs on how to stay together and have a good marriage-- as he should know having been married for all of 2 years.

So I guess since I have ridden on an airplane 4 times, I feel experienced enough to go give the pilot some pointers on how to fly the plane. pffffst.

Absolutely agree. Somehow he has convinced himself that he's intelligent and some kind of wise, advice-dispensing sage. But in reality, he's an inexperienced douche. He "loves her enough to ask the tough questions"? What a pompous creep.

Agree. Jeremy needs to get off his high horse and let his parents live their lives.

Yea he's arrogant for sure, I didn't know he has a website telling others how marriage life should be, being a newlywed ur still in that butterfly feeling stage, once those go away, ur stuck with what's left, then I bet he won't be giving out marriage advice :p

Not just website, a business. They offer counselling and Audrey foes speaking engagements. They think they are experts in telling people how to not divorce. Beating the 50 it's called. They even had an art die of his pictures yo introduce it.

I just caught up on the episode where Amy went on the bike ride, and then the 'Are You Dating' episodes and I cannot believe Jeremy's attitude! I understand that seeing his mom with another man other than his father could be unsettling, but he also is not a four year old! As an adult, he needs to understand it is her life to live, and no amount of wishing is going to put Matt & Amy back together!
I also do not understand, at just two years of marriage, how he and Audrey feel they are relationship experts! We have been married over 30 years, and I would certainly not be doling out unsolicited advice to people, and especially not to those older than I!

I am so glad someone else noticed the things I have about Jeremy. The cold side and the not smiling thing. I was beginning to think I was just being hard on him but he has really changed and not for the good either...

They are basically stereotypical millennials. Two years married and they can run a business telling people how to stay married. Okaaaaaay. But that's about right with attitudes these days. Except millennials wouldn't take advice from anyone so I'm not sure who "Auj and Jer" will be advising, ha. Anyway, I agree, Zach and Tori are much more down to earth. Zach has always been more sensible and practical than Jeremy though.

Jeremy used to have a fun loving personality. Now he seems like he is too cool to even smile. I really used to like him and now he and Audrey turn my stomach.
I think your explanation is a good one Northern. They have advice for no one.

I think overall Jeremy, compared to how he was when he was much younger, is more mature. I used to be pretty judgemental with him long ago, didn't think he had much of a chance. He seemed so out of control. But he's turned out ok and yes, he's not perfect, but how he's reacting and/or dealing with his parents divorce and his mom's dating, I think is pretty normal.

Yeah I have a good chuckle when he and his wife talk about marriage and how they think they can help save marriages. They have no clue what it's like to be married 10 years, let alone, 20 or 30. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And no praying or a belief in a god will help it.
