Awful Script

I saw this movie a while back, and I recall thinking that it had one of the worst scripts I had ever seen for a movie that was actually made.

A great deal of the dialogue is nothing more than some kind of awkward exposition, with characters merely declaring what they are thinking or feeling -- or what they are about to do. It made the movie pretty much unwatchable.

Throw in an extremely predictable "twist," with Hopkins chewing the scenery for yet another easy paycheck, and you've got one of the most atrocious pieces of dreck I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through.
