Anyone know if it's true that the movie starts shooting on July 14th? Google alerts sent out a message saying it would.

Yeah, I know that now, thanks. Google Alerts sent a friend of mine an email falsely announcing that the start date was 7/14/09. Boooooo, Google Alerts. Just found out for sure yesterday that currently NOTHING is happening with this movie.

I know the point is kinda moot now, but the Google alert said it was gonna start shooting on July 14 and didn't give a year, so assumption led to saying it was this year when it really wasn't. The Google alert wasn't false, if you clicked on the link that the Google alert provided, you were taken to a blog post or news item from 2008.

Too bad that the movie seems to be pretty much dead. I was really looking forward to it. :-(
