Like every Canadian actors/actresses, Amanda just want to act because she love the crafts so she'll take on any and all type of roles no matter how big or small. I guess you can say that she want to "stretch her wings".

She IS NOT a "starving artist".

BONUS: Amanda get away from the SG1 Samantha Carter character. :)

EDIT: BTW... Amanda have about 10 mins. of screen time in the whole movie but I like what I saw. Nothing like the characters she played in Sanctuary or SG1.

If you wanna see Amanda Tapping as you NEVER seen her before, you should see "stuck" from 2002
- absolutely my favorite Amanda Tapping movie. []

One of her finest performances imo, and there's NO reminiscence of "Samantha Carter" at all!
