Perfect blend for me. I'm a huge Tati fan. It's the perfect marriage of artists and I think Chomet has done Tati justice. Can't wait to see this.

shareVisually, original and beautiful. [Though, perhaps not to the same extent as "Belleville Rendez-Vous"...] A sweet, sad and rather old-fashioned little story... A little long and really more a work of art than a conventional film. But, I very much enjoyed it.

I'd love to be near NY or LA when it hits the states in December, but alas I'm in Ohio -_- ... I don't know if they will release it in Chicago (I have family there so I go up there a lot), I guess it would probably depend on how it did in NY and LA.
I think the Illusionist looks fantastic! I love the animation and the colors...oh and the rabbit! lol, it made me think about the killer rabbit from Monty Python and The Holy Grail... I think I will no doubt enjoy this film.
