United States release?

Has anyone heard anything about a release, either theatrical or DVD, in the US?

Well, they are going to dubb this in English next summer, so I guess it's going to be in theaters then. But most likely not going to be wide release.

Lightning has picked up this film for distribution in the US December 2009:

Funny how long it takes to distribute this overseas. I just watched the dvd of the film here in Finland. Disc 2 contains the film dubbed in English. It's also out in blu-ray format.

It just came to the video stores here in the US this past Tuesday. I am watching it now. So far it's so sweet.

The version I just watched from Netflix turned out to be entirely dubbed in English with no options to turn off the dubbing for the original voices. It was distracting at first, but after awhile it became a little less so...mainly because Nicklaus's beard covered his lips! I would've preferred the original version, but it still was a nice little story.
