What's up with Parker Posey's Faces?! (Spoiler)

I have an EXTREMELY expressive face, so much so that people tell me I look like a cartoon, lol; but Posey's expressions almost seemed out of place at times.

For example, when Posey was laying in the the tub with Julien she looked dead, REALLY dead. I get she was "thinking" but her eyes looked lifeless. When Julien had to push her I really thought she really might have been dead, b/c she didn't really move after that either.

Also, when de Matteo came back in from her date in Paris and came into the bed with Posey after taking a shower... The lights are turned out and when de Matteo says goodnight to Posey, Posey says nothing; BUT her eyes open in this really creepy way signifying that she knows de Matteo just slept with the man she brought the package to.

Anyone else notice this?!

There was a definite stylised way to her acting but it was a quirky movie and I found her performance to be superb.

In the tub scene I got a "lost in depressive thought" from her as right after she asks about commitment, whether he would see other men, etc.

If you read a few of the other threads here it's not conclusive that Matteo actually cheated - she might've actually left after the lunch but even coming that close to eheating broke her down.

I saw Parker's staring in the scene with Matteo on the bed in the hotel as a look of new concern - she was so wrapped up in her own drama with losing the number that she didn't pickup on the fact that something was wrong with her best friend.

She was hilarious at the beginning portion though, all her looks of disgust were brilliant!
