I'm watching this movie right now and Julien has a lot of patience for Nora and he even runs after her when she wants to leave. And he only knew her for a short time. Finding men like Julien is like finding gold.

Well, he's not indescribably sexy and French, but my best friend's fiance has patience like Julien. My friend can get a little nuts sometimes, but he's mad for her and sticks with her through her nuttiness. :) I wouldn't call him gold, but he's a pretty quality guy. ;)

I really enjoyed this movie, and to think I almost didn't it. It's on Netflix and for the past two night it's been my choice. It does seem that non-American men are still more passionate. I wish there were more Julien's around maybe I would be so reluctant to settle down.
shareJulien was great but I also liked the man she met at the bar who talked with her and put her into the taxi. Actually it might have been interesting if she had met someone else while searching for Julien. As for French men, I was in Paris once for a few days years ago and they are the most attentive men in the world. I could have gone on dates with several men if I hadn't already been involved with the man who would become my first husband. European men are so romantic its ridiculous, LOL!
