July 13th show cancelled?

It appears that FOX has removed the final air dates for Drive from their website.

When I sat down on Wed to watch Drive to find they'd yanked it (just like they yanked it from the regular line up), I was pissed. To find out they've done it again it really too much.

I wrote a letter to my local station and to FOX. This is not a trustworthy network in terms of a viewer having any assurance that the time they invest in watching a FOX show will pay off with a resolution. I don't say this lightly but I will not ever invest in another FOX show again. In my letter I quoted a line from a parable, "But lady, you knew I was a snake when you picked me up."

Fox is a snake and, at this point, we have only ourselves to blame if we ever 'pick them up' again. Networks are, in a sense, hiring you. They want you to do something for them and they will pay you for doing it. They want you to watch the ads on their network. They pay you to watch the ads with the shows they air. If they don't pay you adequately, why would you watch their network?

I hope that every person frustrated by our 'lack of payment' writes both FOX and their local FOX station. Perhaps the local stations can put some pressure on the network to air the final episodes.

Yes, its now officially done for. No more TV. I've e-mailed Fox asking them to post the last 2 episodes online, and to promptly release a good DVD set for it, as well as a bunch of reasons why they should, and a lot of accusations about Buffy and Firefly being mishandled. Many, many people have been e-mailing Fox about this; the Browncoats are responding with a vengeance on this one, and Fox just might have to acknowledge us when they get about 1000 e-mails called 'Drive'.

Got film? Use the Force. Drink some rum. Hunt some Orc.

I would never advocate or suggest sending hate mail. I think that sort of communication gets discarded immediately and is given no consideration at all. The more articulate and reasonable you sound, the more likely someone is going to listen. If they can say, "They're all kooks.", they can justify not listening to the fan base.

At this point I wouldn't watch the final episodes if they did decide to air them. I'm not gonna help them pay thier bills. I'll wait until I can download them or watch them online somehow.
I don't understand the stupidity of this. Why are people letting this network survive? They are dumbing their viewers down with so-called reality crap and teasing them with actual television. Every time they put something interesting on they kill it before it's found it's audience or just because they don't like it. Other networks are letting shows that have performed lower than half the canceled shows on fox (I didn't capitalize on purpose) run until they find an audience or at least runs it's course. Not fox, they'd rather rob us by selling all their ad space and producing cheap knockoff so-called reality. And people are letting them get away with it because they are too lazy to turn the channel. You are right they work for us, but with people just being satisfied by anything flashing on their screen, will we ever be able to do anything about it. We should fire them, cancel them, boycott this ridiculous station until they start showing TV again.
They need to stop creating new channels and do what they are supposed to be doing with the channels that exist!
There should be a group organized to take them down, or at least let fans be heard.

You would be surprised by how many of us don't have the option of viewing online. My dial-up would take about 12 hours to attempt to view one of the episodes and would probably disconnect after a few hours, requiring to start all over again.

Did you think that maybe they didn't show the last two episodes so they could sell more dvd's?
Screw them.

Or that some of us live in Canada. =/

I completely agree with wishta. This isn't even ridiculous anymore. This has skyrocketed past ridiculous and already reached f ucked up.
This station could kiss my ass, 'cause I'm never gonna get into their shows ever again.

I miss Arrested Development.
Thank God CBS is playing it.
