This is too weird...

Over the last week I've been watching "Firefly". Was sad to find out it had been cancelled. Now, someone mentioned "Drive" in a forum just as a title. I do a search on it. It's by Fox, stars Nathan Fillion and is cancelled! Do they have a grudge against the man or something!?! And why oh why does he keep getting involved in their shows. Wake up and smell the coffee Nathan! These people are dangerous!

Thank you for taking the trouble to write all that by the way :D Had no idea it happened that way. But if you just look at the episode order, you can tell why it went down. I mean, I watched them in the correct order but who knows how confusing it was to watch them in the order aired. I don't get it. Networks should care about making money. Viewers have to be many. If they had a show that everyone loved like "Firefly" why destroy it when it would make tons of cash? I mean, I can't believe that just cause they didn't like the show, they'd pull it off the air even though it made money.

And I must say, the theme of "Drive" doesn't intruigue me much but I'll take a look cause I'm so curious to see if there was actually something wrong with this one.

Still, there never will be another "Firefly". That show was just amazing. The movie was good too but I don't agree with some choices they made for some characters.

Just imagine how many wonderful series people would have gotten if it weren't for networks. All of them have canceled one good series or another that could have given us true art and entertainment. It's so unfair.

I understand that and I'll watch it anyway. Many good series get cancelled but we can't avoid them for it. I just wish they hadn't made "Serenity" the movie. Because if it would have been possible to revive the series at some point, they killed two main characters so it won't be the same. Don't think that will happen though. Wish it would. Before the actors reach 60!Ha ha ha.

Can I just say that I would love to meet all those responsible for the cancelling of "Firefly"' and not only give them the thrashings of their lives, but also tell them what complete IDIOTS they are. I mean, come on, are they retarded? "Buffy" was a GI-NORMOUS success... and when Joss went off and did "Angel", that one became a success. Joss Whedon fans are loyal as hell, and pretty much all of them loved "Firefly" (which might have been better than "Buffy"). So do these TV execs know what loads of cash they missed out on by cancelling "Firefly"? There is a *beep* of "Buffy" and "Angel" merchandise aside from the DVDs - figurines, books, comics, whatever - "Firefly" surely would have garnered the same treatment. Again, I say to all those responsible for the cancellation of a stupendous show - YOU ARE A F-ING MORON!!

Yeah, I'm still bitter about Firefly as well...
