why do people say 'day break' ?
it was supposed to be a filler during the LOST break and it was planned as a 13 episodes MINI series.
yes, it was cancelled after 6th or 7th episode but all episodes were already filmed and then shown as webisodes online, so we GOT IT ALL.

i would love to add arrested development to the list, but it had three seasons (but the last two were not full)

That is indeed Mal, from the episode "Our Mrs. Reynolds", talking to Saffron while everyone still thought she was sweet & innocent.
