Not much grousing about 'accents'.

It just irks me no end that seemingly -every- movie where people are using accents nowadays will have a bunch of 'THESE WERE CRAPPY ACCENTS!' or 'WHY DIDN'T THEY USE REAL <insert ethnicity here>?'

Drives me nuts.

Maybe this was made before that became such a theme.

That's because the accents in this movie were realistic. That's kind of an achievement since the 4 main characters are played by actors of a different nationality.
