When he's leaving, and tells her to "stay alive a little longer," he gives her a wad of money and what looks like some type of Russian prayer card on top of it. Anyone know what it is?

The prayer card is a sign for hope in the Russian religion. It shows a woman who is supposed to protect and watch over you.
