Worst movie of 2012 by far...

It looks like Adam Sandler learned his lesson when he passed on this script, it's stupid on so many levels. It has more holes in it than Jack & Jill with Bucky Larson combined! Eddie Murphy has sunk himself to the lowest of lows in this business, it was nice knowing you Eddie!

Any movie made by Adam Sandler should make worst movie of the year every year. I saw this movie & it wasn't bad as most "critics" would like it to be. I liked it because there was a personal closure he had to come to terms with.

It's not so much that it's the worst movie of the year. I think it's safer to say it's the biggest disappointment. No one really wants Eddie Murphy to fail. We were all hoping that Tower Heist would lead to the Oscars which would then lead to an R rated Beverly Hills Cop 4 full of MF's and the old Eddie. Instead we got this middling, lazy, gimmicky cash-in from the guy who directed him in "Norbit". That's where the 0% on RT and all the grief is coming from. I completely understand.

Well, to be fair, this movie was filmed 4 years ago in 2008, and was actually supposed to hit theaters in 2009, but it got shelved because paramount and dreamworks were splitting up at the time, so this movie was made before Tower heist, meaning TH was his comeback, not ATW.
