Well meaning film...
...can't rise above the sluggish first hour, but has a strong finish for those of us who are proud of our bleeding hearts. Not as entertaining as it should have been, but I enjoyed the scene with his mother near the end, and he message--while so overly simply its largely anticlimactic--is a valid one.
Gave it 6/10, which is probably a couple points higher than it deserves, but it wasn't as horrible as a lot of people make it out to be.
