$25 million loss!

This movie cost $40 million to make and so far has only generated about $15 million in revenue--a $25 million loss, according to IMDb. Boy, Paramount sure did take a bath on this one!

This may spell the end of Eddie's movie career, as he apparently has now become "box-office poison."

"This may spell the end of Eddie's movie career". I sure hope so - his one-note, ridiculous buffoon act has finally caught up with him. He's totally irrelevant (actually, always should've been) and needs to disappear once and for all.

I just hope that Eddie Murphy could do better films. I think that he should have done Beverly Hills Cop 4 instead which has been in development hell for years.

Oh please, not another "Beverly Hills Cop" movie. The first one was good, and arguably his best movie, but the two sequels sucked, and IMO were just as bad as "A Thousand Words."

EM - another Hollywood victim.

No, just another victim of a very limited talent, the audience finally got wise. Don't blame Hollywood for it.
