not as bad as people have said

while i would not put this movie on murphys top 10 best list. its not truly awful like ive heard people say. its not as unfunny as people have said. i guess im somewhere in the middle with this one.fo those who think this is murphy at his worst i guess you havent seen holy man or pluto nash. i think vampire in broklyn and the haunted mansion is worst too. so id say murphy has done alot better than this and alot worse.

From the director or Good Burger and Norbit....We present some more crap from Eddie Murphy.

I rated it a 2/10 and it was the most awful thing I have seen in a while. Eddie Murphy wasn't terrible in Tower Heist but he was really bad and highly annoying in this one. All the characters were lame and the story was cliched and below average. Total FAILURE.

I truly loved the serious undertone. He came to grips with himself and found inner peace.

Im the Alpha and the Omoxus. The Omoxus and the Omega

Nicely said, omoxus. I had low expectations and I found this to be a surprisingly good movie. Started as a typical Eddie Murphy comedy and became something more.

I was actually surprised how much better this was then what other reviews were saying.

Act like a woman and man up!

It would work as a Carrey vehicle but in a Murphy comedy, we expect wisecracks.

Its that man again!!

Yeah I came to this with low expections and I actually quite enjoyed it.

I agree, i came into this movie with very low expectations and came away from it pleasantly surprised at how much i enjoyed it. Definitely better than Norbit, Holy Man, Bowfinger, Pluto Nash, Meet Dave.....holy *beep* Eddie's had some stinkers over his career!lol
