I saw this on HBO, thought it was cute. Kinda funny. Not awful.
One thing that minutely bothered me was the age of the kid that played Tyler (Eddie Murphy & Kerry Washington's son): they made it out in the movie like he was an infant, such as she mentions wearing a nursing bra for breast feeding and how he still hasn't said his first word,but the kid looks like he's at least 3 years old ! Maybe it's just that the kid actor is big for his age?

yeah that was a huge miscast. A child of his age would be running around and talking, probably toilet trained and learning to dress himself. but in the movie hes always being carried, never speaks a word and is dressed in all in onesies.
