Adam Sandler and Kevin James not kissing
Did anyone else think that Sandler and James not kissing only reinforced the perceived 'ickiness' of gay love? Two opportunities arose: one ended in a homophobic punch, and the other was in slow-motion with the two men being 'saved' at the last second from having to go through with it.
If you're going to do a movie and play gay, then you should at least be willing to kiss another man. Otherwise, how effective is the message of the movie? Is it not just sending the message that there's something wrong with homosexuality, and that the act of kissing another man is so disgusting that these two actors were unwilling to do it? It was one of the things that disappointed me about this movie.
