Bello Nock - cannon ball guy

He got robbed IMO. Guy risks his life doing an amazing stunt - getting shot out of a cannon over a helicopter with blades spinning, and they put three dance acts through out of the six spots left? And one of them is the chubby guy who dances like Rerun from What's Happening. Are they on crack?

I was pretty shocked to see Bello get sent home, as well. he fulfilled the request by Simon to amp the act up. I admit, I;m not a fan of bello (comes off a little 'fuddy-duddy" and old fashioned). Maybe I judge him by his association with the Big Apple Circus, before it folded.

That said, that chubby dancer totally shouldn't have gone through. There were many better acts than him, including Bello. I guess the judges/producers have a pre-set idea of what acts would make for good ratings sometimes.

Agree about Bello, and I'll add that Daniel Ferguson who impersonated Simon Cowell among many others should definitely have earned a spot going forward. I knew he wasn't going to make it when they didn't even show his whole performance--only 30 seconds of it!

I also think the backstories play into the decision. They seem to choose people who have these heart-tugging stories that play to the audience's sympathies. Whenever contestants get those mini documentary- like segments about themselves, I know they're in, and I might as well turn the channel. I'm sorry that some are suffering through difficult times, but the show isn't called America's Got Heart-Wrenching Life Circumstances.

I felt the same way. His literally risked his life, and the stunt was amazing. He proved that he was creative and able to step up his game in impressive ways.
