lady rochfort

Played by Joanne King, theres also a maid to Elizabeth I miniserie who looks exactly like her, but cant find nothing about it. Not in her filmography or who did the maid in Elizabeth I. She only has one line, but goddamn she looks exactly like it.
If anyone know, would like to know if its same person because that would mean one mayor (major? im not english) casting mistake on the Tudors lol.

If you're referring to the 2005 mini-series Elizabeth I starring Helen Mirren and Jeremy Irons (lots of great actors in this!), I have yet to see it, but plan on watching it soon. It does not appear that the lovely Joanne King is in it and am curious to see the woman that you speak of.

Once I've seen it I'll let you know if I can be of help.

She appears only almost at the end and says only one sentence.

You'll love it eyeguy72. Maybe you've seen it by now.

I mean, it's Helen Mirren! Directed by Tom Hooper (John Adams, The King's Speech, The Danish Girl) It's an older Elizabeth. Very different from Cate Blanchett who played Elizabeth in the first movie before she was Queen and her sister Mary was alive. In the HBO version, she's been Queen for a while.

My favorite Elizabeth R is Glenda Jackson. Those old BBC miniseries, despite being dated, were really fabulous.

I've seen the Helen Mirren version several times and own it, as well as owning all the seasons of The Tudors. The actress who played "Lady Rochford" was not in it. She doesn't seem to have done a lot of work since The Tudors.

Remember us, for we too have lived, loved and laughed
