HBO + BBC = Great TV
Has anyone noticed that when HBO and the BBC work on a collaboration, the result is always superb... Rome, Conspiracy, Band of Brothers, and now Tsunami.
shareI think to be fair, it was more a collaboration of HBO and Kudos. The BBC are merely there to put money on the table and oversee its production.. Hence the Production executives. Kudos have a great past reputation of television productions: Spooks, Hustle and Life On Mars.
But yes, in that respect, the BBC do choose their productions carefully and very well!
