Was Ellen as bad as I think she was?
I wasn't sure the first time I saw the series. But the second time, she came across as a total manipulator who not only didn't really care about Thailand (she was leaving at the end) but was simply using Nick and trying to act as if she actually cared.
I didn't get the sense that Nick loved her at all. I think he was initially interested in her, but figured out what her game was quickly enough and rather delighted in having the chance to expose her as the greedy, selfish user she was.
Did I miss something other than the first 10 or so minutes of the second series (both times)?
