Rashid's pills

I guess no one can really know unless they say it, but I was wondering if I might have missed it mentioned... what kind of pills was it that Rashid was giving Brandi? because that might have had a lot to do with the way she was acting. It could have been something that made her paranoid, out of touch with reality or lose a bit of her morals. It honestly did seem like she was a totally different person in the begiinning of the movie... she had a good job that took a lot of patience, kindness and selflessness and she did it so well that the residents favored her and she was in the running for a promotion. By the time the accident took place she seemed like she couldn't really make any moral decisions or understand what was actually happening. If anyone heard it mentioned or might have an educated guess depending on what the pill looked like or it's symptoms, I'd be really curious to know.

Ecstacy. I thought it was obvious, but he mentioned "e" which is slang for ecstacy.

which funnily enough is supposed to make you very kind, loving and especially in touch with your feelings/emotions..........so i've heard.

Depends on what kind of ecstasy you have and what kind of mood you and the people around you are in.

Contrary to what seems to be popular opinion, ecstasy doesn't make you feel *beep* up the way alcohol does. It doesn't impair your thinking, it just makes you extremely emotionally sensitive. You can function fine, but your mood will be elevated and you will feel more comfortable sharing your thoughts and emotions with others.

What I didn't understand is why she took it in the first place. In fact, I didn't think it was ecstasy at first, because nobody with half a brain would drink alcohol AND take ecstasy, especially considering that alcohol exacerbates dehydration and the effects of ecstasy are about a billion times more enjoyable than alcohol anyway. So drinking alcohol while rolling is, at the very least, pissing your money away, and at the worst, can be fatal.

Not to mention, she didn't act, at any point, at all like she was on ecstasy. The whole drug angle didn't even make any sense, but then again, MOST of this movie didn't make any sense, so go figure.
