"Stuck" was based on actual events that took place in Texas. The DVD has no director commentary and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere online: why does the movie take place in Providence, RI?

shareBecause a $5 million budgeted film does run a town like St. John's. The amount they would have been taxed would have helped the town dearly.
