Ridley v. Tony, "Body of Lies" v. "Spy Game". Certainly "Spy Game" had better dialog, at least in my opinion. And both had a very cynical view of assets and their expendability. Which did y'all prefer and why.

Spy Game is the better film. Ridley out-did all of Tony's work, including Man on Fire and Last Boy Scout (two films I loved) with Black Hawk Down, had moments of greatness in Kingdom of Heaven (Saladin's scenes and the parts with Brendon Gleeson) but his last great film was Gladiator. He will never better Blade Runner and Alien is one of the great horrors.
"You haven't got the feel of this at all, lad. Use all your voices. When I bellow, bellow back."
I don't want to be the spoiler here, but to anyone reading here who has not seen both films: Body of Lies (2008) is much more believable than is Spy Game (2001), especially as exemplified by their endings. Without giving it away, suffice to say that the end of Spy Game is totally unrealistic.
IMHO, Body of Lies is in the same class with The Good Shepherd (2006), and both are heads and shoulders above Spy Game.
