Yes, I read the news report yesterday. Strange..considering Ignatius had a similar plot line in the book.
And yes, did anybody know that Hani's character is actually based on the Ex-GID Chief, Gen. Saad Kheir, who was Ignatius' acquaintance or maybe a little more?

The CIA obviously can't find its penis at a Mitchell Brothers Festival. They kill their own personnel with elementary blunders all the time. The guy that blew up those agents, including a senior supervisor, had been 'recruited' via false arrest and subsequent threats. An operation that makes the Russell Crowe character look positively brilliant.
