Me, too. Especially the line "you cannot trust Hani."
Obviously Hani was a pro at what he did and cooperating with him was important. But coming to blindly rely on him the way Ferris did wasn't smart, because he's still working for a foreign government - and if Hani becomes the CIA's only eyes and ears in the region, that means Jordan can manipulate America into seeing, believing and ultimately doing whatever it wants. It's Ferris' job to run additional operations behind Hani's back.
For the record, I'd be saying the same thing even if he were stationed in London, Paris or Jerusalem. And I'd expect nothing less from a Jordanian station chief in Washington either. It's the only way that stuff can work.
