System Of A Down and Faith No More

And now, this evening's rock history moment. The main writers from those two bands contributed a long original song to this flawed masterpiece. Serj is from the middle east(Armenian league), and has also written for the USC marching band.

reply

Please. Both those bands are *beep* jokes. They aren't a part of "rock history" and they never will be.

reply

Well I'm sorry mr booz. I'll look for a movie with The Archies, to please your elevated tastes.

reply

You're a goddamn moron if you think Faith No More isn't a part of rock history. They are one of the most innovative bands to come out of the 80's and had HUGE influence on music of the 90's and even today.

reply

Smearing s**t on a canvas is also innovative, but it doesn't make it automatically good.

Music in the 90's and especially today sucks, so you fail at making a point.

Face the fact, the bands you like suck ass.

reply

You obviously flower in the hothouse of internet secrecy.

reply

you obviously dont have a clue about music 1991:Achtung baby!(U2) Blood Sugar Sex Magik;Californication(red hot chilli peppers)
Nevermind ( Nirvana)Siamese Dream(1993 Smashing Pumpkins) 90s were very very great s be quiet plz

Nirvana *beep* sucks. They were a bunch of angsty pussies who couldn't play for sh#t. The only good thing Cobain ever did was blowing his brains out.

U2 is the gayest and most overrated band in history.

Smashing pumpkins *beep* suck. They don't deserve any credit for anything.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are alright, I'll give you that.

Guns 'n Roses released the Use Your Illusion albums in '92, which were great, but I consider them more an eighties band.

reply

Your right Smashing Pumpkins suck ass and I'm clueless as why people listen to U2 (Bono gets on my *beep* nerves with all his self-righteous "good deeds")...

Nirvana was dope though...I put Nevermind in my top ten favorite albums and I usually go for hip hop and metal...

There were many influential bands from the 90s including U2(80s), REM, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc. Faith No More have contributed quite a bit by not being on everyone's T-Shirt because they didn't feel the need to conform or get labeled.

Except for Smashing Pumpkins, everyone else mentioned above is either making the same music or has failed.

Mike Patton continues to flourish in his umpteen projects and bands. Not popular or trash? Sure, but many of us love this trash. :)

Not Original? Dont you dare say that :)

reply

Those bands are nothing compared to what we had in the sixties, seventies and eighties.

reply

What you had then is what you have now - little peepee.

reply

And you have AIDS.

reply

Agreed, some bands from 60s into the 70s defined Rock which led to other genres in the later decades.

reply

faith no more ruled back in the day.
so did smashing pumpkins...not the latest version, which is just BC and some random interchangeble parts follwoing the SP formula: chick basss player, asian guitar player, and anyhting playing drums - could be a synthisizer or an actual stoned out person...doesnt matter.

hell his solo effort was better than this
