I don't get the climax

Why did the terrorist leader come out of hiding when he knew he could be tracked? He knew that they were kidnapping a CIA agent and knew that the agent could have easily had men tracking him. So why risk it? This is guy is so careful not to be discovered by his enemies for years because of his carefulness, then he just throws it all away.

Ah! You spoilt kids of America... you have the luxury of actually thinking and questioning about minute plot points in a movie that people who made it and people who watch it take seriously. Come to a Bollywood thread, (why even a YouTube video of Salman Khan or Shahrukh Khan or Aamir Khan) and try asking a question about any of their movies and you will know what I mean. In no time, you will be accused of "missing the big picture", "why didn't you make the film then, huh genius?" etc. and that will just be the beginning. Soon you will be called anti-Muslim, anti-Hindu, anti-Salman, pro-SRK, being a terrorist (you will never be called a Nazi because they don't know what that means having never been taught about WW2 or the Holocaust!).

I am sorry, I just watched the movie on HBO, came here, saw this and couldn't control the ranting. Please go on. Thanks. I could go on but I am truly exhausted.

Just wait for Ek Tha Tiger to get released.
its plot holes and goofs section will probably be flooded with stupid mistakes

He couldn't resist confronting the CIA guy so he could gloat. The terrorists thought the Jordanian chief of security had sold him to them, but to be on the safe side, they picked him up using 4 cars, each of which left in a different direction, so they could not be easily tracked.
