How did the terrorist cell know where to pick up Leo?

The kidnapping/blood and phone call was all Hani. So how did the cell know to pick up Leo and why did they do that. They apparently knew he was being watched by eyes in the sky.

Hani had the kid with the mom on the inside of the cell wouldn't it have been easier to just call in where the leader was w/o the charade. Or did the kids cell not have contact with the leader until they had something of high value, ie Leo.

If so what could the kid have possibly said to explain how they captured Leo out there?

I want freedom from unwarranted accusations of sucrose theft and I want it NOW!

I was puzzled about this as well. On another thread someone says that Hani supposedly sold Ferris to the terrorists. They picked him up using 4 cars that left in different directions so if they were being watched, they would not know which car to follow. The spy kid was low level and probably would not normally have been where the leader was or known where he was.
