is this movie fast paced or slow paced?

a bit slow in the first half,but picks up pace in the latter.

I'd say that it is mid-paced, but it's more dialogue-driven with a smattering of action here and there. (There's also a small, likeable romantic sub-plot.)
If you're in the mood to sit and watch a SMART movie with decent amounts of dialogue, then this may be the movie for you.

I enjoyed the whole thing.
