Better than Hurt Locker or Green Zone

rarely do I endorse movies with Leonardo di Caprio, but I have to admit his acting intensity comes through genuinely. it would be easy to say that is a no brainer if one was hung up on the opinion of the Academy Awards jury and proclivities of Academy Award winning directors like Martin Scorsese.

I found this movie to be better than Hurt Locker or Green Zone, and I'm not shocked because the director is Ridley Scott, a figure that has been earning my respect for over three decades now.

The Hurt Locker is the only film that made me feel like I was back in Iraq. It captured the atmosphere and paranoia amazingly. Its the only film that has done that to me. I mean that is really what Iraq looked like. Its what it sounded like.

Having said that, this movie is pretty damn good and I like it better as far as enjoyment goes than Green Zone and Hurt Locker.

What film isn't better than Green Zone? It was terrible.

I like Body of Lies but I think Hurt Locker is better. Renner's performance is above and beyond Leo or Crowe's. Both excellent films for rotation though.
