Do these people not own phones?

Watching season 1 on Netflix and in every episode whenever someone has to talk to anyone they go to their house. Seems linda silly to go to someones house in the middle of the night to ask a question. Other than that great show!

Talking on the phone is less cinematic than people talking face to face.

Also, this was back in 2004, so no, in a technologically challenged place like Dillon, Texas, Not everyone would have had a cell phone.
