Season 4 questions possible spoilers.

I've been watching Friday Night Lights these last few weeks and just got to the fourth season. In the fourth season Eric becomes the new coach of the newly formed East Dillion Lions. I had a few questions about this and was wondering if you could assist without any spoilars.

1- Where did all these black kids come from?
2- Weren't they already going to school in West Dillion?
3- Where did the teachers, staff, school, and field come from?
4- How long did they the school sit empty?
5- When did it the school and field close?
6- How big is Dillion?

1- They were always there. Remember season one when Mac made the racist remarks and all of the kids who got behind Smash in protesting? There were quite a few African American students/football players before the redistricting. It just seems like more in Season Four because that is the majority demographic of Easter Dillon.
2- See above.
3- I took it as they moved some over to East Dillon (probably the newbies and the ones no one liked) and then hired more staff to fill the holes.
4- I think the specific time is stated at one point but if I remember correctly, it was a decent amount of time. Ten, fifteen years?
5- Can't answer that without knowing the above for sure.
6- Seems like a fairly large town if it had enough people for two separate school districts. Certainly it has a small town feel but it seemed to encompass a lot. You have the more suburb looking neighborhoods (the Taylor's, Saracen's etc.) and then the extremely rich part (the McCoy's), the "bad neighborhood" (Vince's turf) and straight up farm country where Luke lives.
