Hey all :)

I enjoyed Dawson's Creek a lot and I was looking forward to suggestions, similar shows. I like that small country feel with the conflicts, emotions. I have seen a lot of tv shows from different categories but I want a series like FNL, OTH and Dawson's Creek.

I'd prefer sth with a sports element, like football.

And please, if you have watched any of the following, tell me how they compare:

Hart Of Dixie
The OC
Veronica Mars
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
The Royals

Hart of Dixie definetely has the small country feel but it's not as well written as FNL or even Dawson's Creek. There's a lot of couple swapping. I quit after 2 seasons.

The OC: While Newport Beach isn't a major city, Southern California is a pretty sophisticated place. I don't think it's very similar to FNL but it does have similarities to Dawson's Creek in terms of the issues young people go through.
