Vince's Dad (SPOILERS)

Vince's dad first appears in series 5 episode 3, and from then on he has a crazy relationship with his son to the point that it eventually becomes a joke, the dodgy worthless hot air false hope scholarship deals and then the complete one-eighty in personality on Orlette (Vince's dad's) part was insane, the man wanted to be in his son's life and then when his son finally gave him a chance the dad eventually rejected him and the son STILL went back to him asking him to be at his game. With what Orlette had put Vince's mother through in the past and then showing Vince that he'd never truly changed, you'd think Vince would have cut his losses and left his father alone. Overall even when it's family when people show you who they are, believe them.

HE NEEDS A FATHER, NOT AN AGENT!

I thought this was a good and realistic arc. Vince was pissed at his Dad for following him and losing his starting QB job because of it. If I remember right Vince's Dad was hurt felt like he failed and I felt like he just thought of himself as a *beep* up and didn't want to interfere in his son's live anymore.

I think it's possible to have a relationship with an extremely flawed parent while knowing you have to maintain boundaries. For example, I hardly doubt Vince would allow his father to handle any of his future professional business.
