Saw prescreening last night at Arclight (Spoiler)

Saw a prescreening of the film last night in Hollywood.

I am a big Molly fan and I thought pairing her with a Mike White project would be a sure fire hit , especially loving one of his earlier efforts -The Good Girl.

The initial setup of Molly's character was someone we could all identify and sympathesize with . Unfortunately , with out going into details, the script doesn't do her character justice. The film does have its sweet and funny moments, but it ultimately disappoints. I had really hoped this would have been her break out role.

The supporting cast of Regina King, John C Riley, Laura Dern and Peter Sarsgard all were memorable supporting characters

the dog predictably was adorable

I saw this the other day at Sundance. It was pretty funny, but it wasn't that great. It was funny, but it also took really sharp turns to sad, there were a lot of those too. I don't know if this movie is going to make it into theatres or not, but it would probably do pretty good if it did.

saw this movie at Sundance and loved it.

I saw Mike White at a vegan restaurant in LA a couple of months before.

I hope this get good distribution. Love seeing animal rights issues and veganism becoming more mainstream in american culture.

^ Totally agree with you. Im glad theres finally a respectable movie out there involving animal rights. The only movie before this....Legally Blonde 2 totally failed to bring the plight of animals being tested upon to light....it made fun of it.
